Jessica Learmond-Criqui is a senior employment and executive immigration lawyer with extensive experience advising employers and individuals on English labour law.
She was called to the Bar in 1986 and admitted as a Solicitor in 1991. Her practice spans the full range of employment law matters, including complex group reorganisations, individual and collective employment issues, and executive immigration work.
Jessica regularly appears in employment tribunals acting for both employers and employees in contentious matters. She has significant experience advising on outsourcing and insourcing transactions, including large-scale transfers between public and private sector organisations as well as between private enterprises.
She advises organisations of all sizes — from start-ups to global businesses — as well as charities and other not-for-profit bodies.
Jessica is a recognised commentator on employment and immigration law and has been interviewed frequently on television and radio. She has written extensively for national publications, including The Times, The Guardian and The Independent.
Her expertise has been recognised in The Legal 500 for employment law. She and her team were nominated for Employment Team of the Year by Legal Business magazine, and in 2010 she was named Lawyer of the Week by The Times.
Jessica is the co-author of A–Z Absence and Sickness and Profit Related Pay and holds an LL.B (Hons), an LL.M (Hons) and an M.A.
